[And here Iceland can brush up on something he's actually good at--surviving in awful conditions. He's pulled most of the books off of the shelves and has constructed something of a fort with them as he looks through the books. At first, as he skims through a book on edible plants, it might seem like he's not paying much attention, but every once in a while he stops and studies a specific plant like that exact plant will be determining if he lives or dies next week, perhaps because it will be holding a gun and pointing it at him.
Probably not, but the point is he already knows most of the plants in the book. Maybe he doesn't really need to be hogging all of the books, in that case. Oh well.]
