week 0 - training facility

When you first wake up in your room, an announcement will play on the television.
You’ll be spending your first week before the game officially starts at a vast facility that has been completely submerged underwater. This facility consists of a central hub surrounded by four smaller spherical buildings. You can get to each subsection by either taking a shuttle or walking across a long glass tunnel.

Yep. It was pretty terrible.

[She's probably going to die of hypothermia if it rains...]
Oh. What are you making?
[Because that's much more interesting than the things she... can't make.]

I'm practicing my trap-making because they're sending us into the wilderness to die and so they probably won't give us any food. There's more space in here than the other classroom.
[He starts spreading things out on the floor: sticks and rope, mostly.]

[Food is another worry of hers - but for a different reason.]
I know how to hunt with a bow and an arrow, but I don't know anything about preparing food.
[Her pampered lifestyle from the time she was a kid is coming back to bite her in the butt.]

[As he's tying up a noose from one of the ropes he brought with him.]

[Wouldn't let her cook it more like it.
She watches what he's doing curiously. She isn't quite ready to start trying that shelter again yet.]

[Craig asks in the same monotonous tone, wedging a stick into the noose. It's actually been a while since he practiced trying to trap an animal. And he actually hasn't cooked it either, only skinned it with his dad and watched it roast. That was the fun part. Hopefully it will be translatable here somehow. If they'll even be generous enough to put them somewhere with game to hunt down.
Ugh. He doesn't even want to think about that right now.]

[Better safe than sorry when you want to... eat the food. Growing up, Yona had definitely been spoiled. She'd never had to cook a thing. But now that her father was gone, she was starting to learn new things.]
So I hope that will help me when the time comes to try it for myself...
[Hopefully... food poisoning would be such an embarrassing way to die.]
