day seven

5 players remaining
The day dawns with not a cloud in the sky. The sun shines down cheerfully and the weather is a perfect spring day, with temperature in the high-sixties and a light breeze. If it wasn't for all the murder going on, it might even be kind of relaxing.
As the sun rises, an announcement plays:
Good morning, contestants! Today, all zones except for Zone 0 are off-limits. You have an hour to get moving!
With only five of you left, we're coming down the home stretch here! I'm sure you're all eager to win this game once and for all, so we've given you a little incentive to really show us what you've got. The game will end in 48 hours starting from now. If the winner hasn't been decided by then, well...let's just say that when we say we're going to hold a sudden death round, we mean it literally!
True to these words, an hour from sunrise, any way to access any zones other than zone 0 have been closed off.
Everything edible on the island has vanished. All the edible plants have completely withered; although the fish and wildlife still exist, hunting anything will reveal that they're completely robotic. You'll also find that any rations and food you may have been saving have rotted away overnight. Luckily, the water's still drinkable, though you won't find much in zone 0.
If you head towards the hut in zone 0, you'll immediately notice that all the crates and backpacks are no longer there. Instead, the hut is completely stocked with all of the weapons from the training facilities, from swords to axes to daggers to bow and arrows and so on. The only weapons you won't be able to find are firearms.
(OOC: When starting a thread, please put in your header the following: ZONE # - TIME - AREA. This will hopefully make it easier for everyone to keep track of which character is where.
Please remember to update the Weekly Check-in with your character's planned movements. Check in is due by Monday at 9 PM)Setting

If he could still make people forget, that would be it for Iceland. Disappear, shifting into shadows, and then his knife at his throat, because anyone that hurts will meet the same fate by Cole's hands. For such a gentle-hearted person, he was ruthless in his judgements. ]
I'm fine. Are you, The Iron Bull?
[ But his voice is tense, nervous, and it's clear that if it were more than just an arrow, Cole would be running forward to meet Iceland himself. He knows, or thinks he knows, that Bull can take more injuries than that. ]

He's not going to leave them to just wander around, though; he has no idea if curare is effective on Iron Bull, and anyway, there's two of them. That's still not allowed. He hates it. That's probably pathetic of him.
He prepares to step back, to run if necessary, but he notches another arrow to fire again at the same time.]

[Being taken by surprise is one thing. Just standing around getting shot at? That's quite another. There's not much to take cover behind in this zone, so Bull goes with his preferred way of taking down archers instead. He might not be agile enough to dodge arrows, but who needs to dodge when aiming and firing a bow takes concentration that is usually broken by a massive horned man holding a huge blade charging down on them like...well, like an angry bull? And just like an angry bull, while Bull's not exactly a fast fighter the way Cole is, he's quite capable of putting on a large burst of speed over short distances.
And while some may say that charging down someone shooting at you is a bit...well, a bit stupid, there's another purpose behind it aside from just simple bloodlust. He and Cole have pulled this maneuver off dozens if not hundreds of times before, after all, working together smoothly as the shield who soaks up the attacks while the blade quickly and quietly slips in.]

Once they're both closer to Iceland, Cole waits for a break as he tries to notch an arrow, and it's only then that he dodges out of cover to use his much more agile skills to close the distance even more quickly. He has a dagger in each hand, and once he's close enough, he strafes to the side at the last moment, then slices forward in the air, one towards Iceland's throat, and the one that follows towards his torso. ]
oh no, sorry, I forgot thread tracking goes away when your paid expires
And, as Cole appears in front of him, it occurs to him he needs to get poison into Iron Bull's partner, too. He barely gets his polearm in the way in time, using it to block for just long enough that he can scurry back even more. The end of his halberd is poisoned, but he needs space to get that to work.]

[Iron Bull's taunt rings across the field, his voice full of contempt. It's not just to mock Iceland though; there's still some space between the two of them and he needs to get his attention off of Cole. The kid's incredible when it comes to stealth and backstabbing, but he's no warrior. Hopefully, he'll be able to draw Iceland's focus long enough for Cole to slip behind him.]

A dagger swings again towards Iceland, but that one is more of a feint to catch the pole, since the other is quickly behind to stab from the other direction. ]

It's all light and nothing else, so it won't hurt Cole, but he's hoping to throw the guy off a bit.]
